AHA 2016: Stroke & Atrial Fibrillation Risks

Psychological stressors, air pollution, and cardiorespiratory fitness were some of the stroke and AF risk factors researchers investigated.

Research presentations at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions included metrics to indicate ideal CV health, a look at how certain emotional stressors may impact AF risk in post-menopausal women, an investigation of the effect of cardiorespiratory fitness on stroke risk in African-Americans, and the impact of air pollution.
