Language Therapy is a speech therapy app designed to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening for patients with aphasia after, for instance, stroke, brain injury, autism, etc. The activities are customizable and designed for clinical and home use. Included are four apps in one: comprehension therapy for improving listening and reading comprehension; naming therapy for improving word-finding skills; reading therapy to strengthen literacy; and writing therapy to improve spelling skills. The app allows users to take pictures of meds, automatically adds medication names, dosages and other details, and provides medication and refill reminders. There’s a journal for tracking symptoms, and a calendar for tracking appointments. It also has a contacts section for recording information about doctors, pharmacies, insurance providers, a notes section for hard to remember details, and a to-do list that can be used to assign tasks to others and get support.
