The symposium was designed to provide clinicians with valuable tools to manage harmful and disruptive behaviors in epilepsy. Key learning objectives included assessing problem behaviors, exploring pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options, and approaching difficult situations with empathy. The session began with patient and caregiver insights, followed by expert discussions on behavior evaluation, non-medication strategies, and pharmacological treatments.
